I wrote and illustrated “Prey” as a final project for a Comics & Graphic Novels class taken with UCLA Extension (shout-out to Prof. Brian!). I wanted to evoke those timeless Aesop fables with animal characters, and contrast the story’s somber, philosophical tone with vibrant, surreal imagery.
